The University’s 10 schools will have the same rules for processes like earning tenure and evaluating a dean’s performance by the end of the year, marking the first time every school will have identical bylaws.
The University is making up for $20 million in losses last year by cutting back part-time faculty, travel fees, and slowing hiring.
Dean of Student Affairs Peter Konwerski said the student “is communicating and has expressed her gratitude for the caring support of the GW community.”
His sudden resignation, which he said was for personal reasons, means GW will lose the face of its largest fundraising drive – the administrator who transformed its fundraising operation in four and a half years at its helm.
