Chris Monroe was named second-team All Conference and freshman Tamal Forchion was named to the All-Rookie team in a pre-season poll conducted Monday by Atlantic 10 coaches and media. St. Joseph’s and Xavier were selected to win the A-10 East and West, respectively. GW was picked to finish fifth in the West.
Thomas Blankvoort was named Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week after his two-over-par 146 (70-76) at last weekend’s Old Dominion Seascape Collegiate.
