The final score marked the first regular season victory of Head Coach Chris Caputo’s tenure with the Colonials. 

In the program’s 109th year, Caputo will take on the challenge of turning around a program that hasn’t seen an NCAA tournament berth since 2014.

Offensively, GW showcased its perimeter shooting, firing 31 shots from long range at a clip of 48.4 percent.

The program has taken advantage of newly recruited talent and experienced players to take on the Atlantic 10 crown for the first time since 2012.

Volleyball split a series with Fordham this weekend, capturing the first match 3-0 and falling 3–1 in the second after 4 sets.
