Parents of an alumna have donated $500,000 to the School of Media and Public Affairs to endow two recurring fellowships, which bring high-profile working journalists to classrooms every year.

The two-year member of the SA’s executive cabinet is one of four candidates seeking the organization’s second-highest seat. She is the only female candidate out of six competing for an executive spot this year.
