Student organizations are now announcing endorsements for the 2022 Student Association presidential and vice presidential candidates.

Less than 24 hours before the onset of the election, student organizations are starting to weigh in on who they want as the SA’s top two leaders for the next academic year. Endorsements are being made later in the election season compared to prior years. Almost 20 student organizations endorsed candidates for SA president and vice president last year.

SA elections take place Tuesday and Wednesday with results announced in the presentation room of the University Student Center Thursday at 5 p.m. and via Facebook Live that night.

About 60 percent of SA senators have also endorsed Xu for the vice presidency, including all seven committee chairs.
