GWPD officers responded to a report of an unknown subject breaking into a vehicle. Officers swept the area but did not find the subject. Officers made contact with the owner of the vehicle, who is not affiliated with GW and reported a car window broken and several of their personal items stolen. They reported a North Face backpack, car registration information, a driver’s license and a sweater stolen.

GWPD officers responded to Mitchell Hall for a report of loud noise. Upon arrival, officers observed a party in progress where underage occupants of the party were consuming alcoholic beverages. GWPD officers processed the scene and sent the non-residents away from the party.

Simple Assault (Domestic Violence)

GWPD officers observed a simple assault between a male and female in a vehicle at the 600 block of 21st Street. Neither person is affiliated with the University. Officers intervened in the assault and arrested one male subject who was then transported to the police station by MPD officers.
