Students said they signed up for on-campus events through the New Student Orientation program like campus tours, trips around D.C. and a visit to the National Portrait Gallery to acclimate to campus and build community.

Thousands of students were welcomed onto campus over the past week for the first time in more than a year. Freshmen and sophomores alike described the challenges posed by being on campus for the first time, while upperclassmen detailed their feelings on returning to some sense of normalcy.
