Former Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg lay in repose at the top of the front steps of the Supreme Court Thursday.

Former Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg lay in repose Thursday on the steps of the Supreme Court, where she served since 1993.

Ginsburg died last week after a yearslong battle with pancreatic cancer. Over the past couple of days, mourners have taken trips to the Supreme Court to pay respects to the late justice.
