Crime log: Man throws trash can at GW staff member

GW Police Department officers responded to a report of theft from 7-Eleven. Upon arrival, the male complainant reported that an unknown subject stole deodorant and shaving cream. GWPD officers canvassed the area with negative findings.

– No identifiable suspect.

A male staff member reported that a man threw a trash can at him. GWPD officers arrived on scene and arrested the subject. Metropolitan Police Department officers arrived and transported the subject to the Second District police station.

GWPD officers responded to a report of theft at CVS. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the male complainant who reported that two unknown male subjects stole several laundry detergents and soap bars. Officers canvassed the area with negative findings.

GWPD received email correspondence from the Cleveland Police Department about multiple vandalism cases in their jurisdiction. The email stated that a male GW alumnus is their prime suspect.

GWPD officers responded to a report of a man who shoplifted one can of Coca Cola and one pint of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the subject and barred him from the property.
