A property manager was completing room inspections of a GW-owned townhouse and saw drug paraphernalia for marijuana in plain view. The area coordinator conducted an administrative search and discovered alcohol and two swords.

GWPD learned that the Metropolitan Police Department had responded to the 500 Block of 23rd Street for a report of a carjacking. A man unaffiliated with GW wanted to drive away with the car, and a second man, also unaffiliated with GW, who owned the car got into the passenger seat. In the course of the incident, the vehicle hit a tree and the suspect fled the scene. D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services transported the car owner, who sustained a head injury in the crash, to the GW Hospital. MPD apprehended and arrested the suspect.

A male student reported that an unknown subject blackmailed him and subjected him to voyeurism over the internet. The student was on a video chat when the subject recorded him in a compromised position and threatened to publish the recording online. MPD responded to the scene and issued a report.
