D.C. resident Doretha Parks claims GW Hospital workers held her “hostage” while injecting needles in her arm.

A woman is suing the GW Hospital for abuse of process, according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday.

In a one-page, handwritten lawsuit filed in the D.C. Superior Court, D.C. resident Doretha Parks claims GW Hospital workers held her “hostage” while injecting needles in her arm. Parks is asking for $14,000 for abuse of process, according to the lawsuit.

“I was held hostage by seven or eight employees,” the complaint states. “They put needles in my arms. I finally escaped with the help of someone.”

Parks could not be reached for multiple requests for comment. GW Hospital spokeswoman Susan Griffiths did not return multiple requests comment.

The case is slated for an initial scheduling conference on April 10, according to the D.C. Superior Court website.
