Person steals credit card at Duke’s Grocery

A person stole a woman’s debit card and placed fraudulent charges on her account Friday, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.

At about 7:30 p.m., a woman reported to MPD that someone stole her credit and debit cards while she was sitting at a bar in Duke’s Grocery. The woman said she received notifications from her bank when she arrived home that charges were placed on her cards.

After checking her bank statement, the woman found a $300 fraudulent charge on her Chase debit card.

The case is open.
