A man was arrested for assaulting a hospital worker inside the GW Hospital emergency room early Tuesday morning, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.
An MPD officer responded to a report at about 2:35 a.m. of a patient spitting in a hospital worker’s face while receiving treatment, according to the report. MPD officers found that the man had an outstanding bench warrant for the D.C. Superior Court after conducting a status check.
