A man stole food and alcohol from Whole Foods Thursday afternoon, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.
At about 2:40 p.m., an MPD officer saw Derrick Edwards gathering chicken, beer, wine, pizza and hot bar food in Whole Foods. Edwards then passed the checkout registers and “refused” to pay for his items before leaving the store, the report states.
MPD officers arrested Edwards, 24, for shoplifting, according to the report.
