Members of the association approved two nominations for the SBA Supreme Court and announced the results of two special elections.

Student Bar Association senators swore in four students to serve in various roles on the association Tuesday.

Annie Abrams, a member of the elections committee of the SBA, announced the results of a special election to fill vacancies for the 2L position in the Sandra Day O’Connor Inn constituency and the evening-at-large position. She said Josh Gilmer, a second-year law student, and Dana Gibson, a first-year law student, won the 2L and evening-at-large positions, respectively.

Members also approved the nominations of Nurlan Orujlu and James Lego, two law students, as associate judges of the Student Bar Association Supreme Court and Jennifer Narvaez, a third-year law student, as the director of academic affairs and policy.

Tiffany Garcia contributed reporting.
