Person steals two jackhammers from Rice Hall construction site

A person stole two jackhammers from a construction site at Rice Hall Wednesday, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.

A construction worker reported to MPD that he saw a person running from the construction site with the two pieces of construction equipment at about 4:30 p.m., the report states.

The report states that the subject threw the jackhammers in the back of a red Chevy sports utility vehicle and drove away. The subject was last seen heading eastbound on the 2100 block of I Street, according to the report.
