GW Police Department officers arrested a man in Amsterdam Hall Friday for possessing drugs, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.

At about 8:50 p.m., GWPD officers responded to a “radio run” for possible drug use in room 313, the report states. The officers contacted GW Housing, which conducted a search of the room and found a “white powder substance,” according to the report.

GWPD officers arrested a Wake Forest student for possession of a controlled substance, according to the report. The student later completed community service hours required to clear his name, and his charges were dropped.
