Spend your weekend exploring the Smithsonians. Start at the National Museum of American History for an exhibit of the Stonewall Riots, then head to your choice of Smithsonian for a late-night celebration of the summer solstice Saturday. Wrap up your weekend chowing down on barbecue on Pennsylvania Avenue.

The display highlights key figures in the riots and includes artifacts and descriptions of the protest’s history.
