A male student reported that his roommate, Joowon Lee, assaulted him at their off-campus housing accommodation. The student reported to the Metropolitan Police Department that he and Lee were arguing about leaving property at their residence. The student said Lee grabbed his arms and struck him with his forehead, and then the student struck Lee with his forehead. Emergency personnel treated the students for minor cuts and bruises on scene, the MPD report states. MPD officers arrested Lee and transported him to the Second District police station. Lee later sent the reporting student threatening emails, according to a GWPD report. Lee declined to comment.
