As March Madness continues, get out of your residence hall and head to these to take advantage of food and drink deals around the District while you watch the game.

Penn Social

If you are rooting for a team in the Atlantic 10 Conference, you’re in luck. Penn Social, a two-level sports bar in Penn Quarter, is offering $5 Devils Backbone Brewing Company beers and $4 Miller Lites and Blue Moons for visitors who wear A-10 gear. Wear your favorite Atlantic Cost Conference or Big Ten team’s swag like a hat or jersey during any March Madness game, and the sports bar will give you happy hour drink prices – which include $2 off draft beers, $5 rail drinks and $6 glasses of wine – all night long.

Across the Pond

Across the Pond – a restaurant and pub in Dupont Circle – is serving up wing and beer deals during March Madness. For just $4, you can get the pub’s own pilsner beer, but the real deals revolve around wings. If customers order a minimum of 10 wings, they’ll pay 55 cents per wing. If you want to pair your wings with beer, you can get 20 wings and three pitchers of Across the Pond pilsner for just $25.

Buffalo Billiards

If you’re a basketball fanatic, but some of your friends don’t get the hype – head to Buffalo Billiards. If you choose this bar, you can keep an eye of the TVs showing various games while your friends stay busy with games like billiards, skeeball and ping pong. During all March Madness games, Buffalo Billiards offers $22 buckets of five Bud Light cans so you can sip on ice-cold beers while rooting for your favorite team or playing one of the bar’s various game offerings.

Jack Rose Dining Saloon

Enjoy Jack Rose Dining Saloon’s extensive alcohol collection with $9 highballs during the bar’s “Highballin’ Happy Hour” – which runs from 5 p.m. to the end of the night’s games – where you can pick between drinks featuring bourbon, scotch and rye. Enjoy the bar’s heated rooftop terrace while you sip on $5 draft beers and chow down on half-priced sliders like the mushroom po’boy with truffle mayo, lettuce and crispy shallots or the cajun grilled chicken with house-made pickles and bib lettuce.

City Tap House

At the restaurant’s Penn Quarter and Dupont Circle locations, City Tap House is offering select draft beers for $5 throughout all of March Madness as they screen the games on 11 HD TVs. Along with deals on beer, the restaurant and bar will host a giveaway with Sweetwater Brewing Company where participants have the chance to win pairs of tickets to the semi-finals and finals of the Final Four along with a flight and hotel voucher that is worth $1,500.
