SA Senate passes no legislation, approves vice president for public affairs at special meeting

The Student Association Senate unanimously approved Wanxing Niu as the SA's vice president for public affairs Monday.

The Student Association Senate did not pass legislation for the second time this academic year at a special senate meeting Monday.

The SA Senate confirmed junior Wanxing Niu to serve as the vice president for public affairs, replacing Audrey Friedline, who previously held the role.

The senate also approved a $16,050 allocation for programming during the Black Heritage Celebration, which runs from Jan. 28 to March 3.
