Somers Hall was evacuated for about an hour Tuesday afternoon after a sprinkler pipe burst in one of the forensics labs.
University spokeswoman Maralee Csellar said the pipe burst at about 2:50 p.m., and work crews shut off water and assessed initial damages to the lab. She said workers have begun cleaning up the space and are “working with occupants of the lab to discuss next steps.”
