Pedestrian struck by car on 23rd and H streets

A pedestrian was struck by a car near the intersection of 23rd and H streets Thursday night, Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Hugh Carew said.

The car struck an adult male at about 11:47 p.m. The vehicle remained on scene, and the pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries, Carew said.

University spokeswoman Maralee Csellar said the GW Police Department did not assist with the accident.
