A GW Hospital patient was arrested for striking an attendant Saturday afternoon, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.
At about 3:28 p.m., 63-year-old Pamela Cooper – a patient in the emergency room – hit a hospital attendant in the chest with “an open-palm strike.” The attendant had been caring for her, the report states.
MPD officers responded to the GW Hospital emergency room after receiving a report that an assault was in progress, according to the report.
