Crime log: Student reports multiple sexual, physical assaults to UPD

Theft II/ From Building, Credit Card Fraud

A female staff member reported to the University Police Department and Metropolitan Police Department that her wallet was stolen from her office and several fraudulent charges were made on her credit cards.

–No identifiable suspect.

Liquor Law Violation

3/21/2018 – 12:37 a.m.
Thurston Hall
Case Closed

UPD officers responded to a report of an intoxicated male student. EMeRG assessed the student and transported him to the GW Hospital emergency room for treatment. D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel also responded to the scene.

–Referred to Division of Student Affairs.

UPD observed a male subject in his mid-50s in the food court area who was previously barred from University property. UPD arrested the subject for unlawful entry and MPD transported him to the Second District station for processing.

–Subject arrested.

A female student reported to UPD that she left her wallet on a park bench and that when she returned, her wallet was missing.

Drug Law Violation

UPD responded to a report by health and safety inspectors of drug paraphernalia in plain view in a residence hall room. Housing officials conducted an administrative search, yielding drugs and additional drug paraphernalia.

Unlawful Entry, Public Drunkenness

3/26/2018 – 6:20 p.m.

UPD observed an intoxicated male subject in his early 40s in the food court area. The subject, who was unaffiliated with the University, had previously been barred from University property. The man was issued another barring notice and EMeRG transported him to the GW Hospital emergency room for treatment.

–Subject barred.

A male student reported to UPD that another student sexually and physically assaulted him multiple times. He declined to file a report with MPD.
