Locals boycotted Wendy’s, located on Georgia Avenue, Sunday for allegedly refusing to combat sexual violence on their farms.
Advocates want the chain to sign on to the Fair Food Program — a partnership among farmers, farmworkers and retail food companies that ensures humane wages and working conditions.
