Man arrested after ‘suspicious activity’ reported in Marvin Center bathroom

A man previously barred from campus was arrested in the Marvin Center Wednesday after someone reported “suspicious activity” in a second-floor bathroom, police said.

A UPD officer stopped the man outside the bathroom and conducted a subject check, which revealed the man had previously been barred from campus property, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.

The man was then arrested for unlawful entry at about 9 a.m. and transferred to MPD’s Second District station, according to the report.
