The Wharf, the District’s newest Southwest waterfront attraction, celebrated its grand opening with an event Thursday.
The event included an opening ceremony, performances and fireworks. The Wharf is a $2 billion dollar project expected to host two music venues, retailers, apartments and a park.
The grand opening marked the ribbon cutting for many of the main businesses in the development, including a state-of-the-art music venue – The Anthem.
