A staff member reported to the University Police Department that she received an anonymous copy of a spring course evaluation form that had a racial slur written on it. The form had no identifying information on it.

No suspects or witnesses.

Disorderly Conduct

UPD responded to a report of an individual acting in a disorderly manner and refusing to leave the building. Responding officers were advised that the individual was a former employee. UPD officers escorted the individual out of the building and issued a barring notice.

Subject barred.

Robbery Pick Pocket

UPD and the Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of a robbery that occurred outside Beefsteak. A witness started to chase the suspect and the suspect dropped the wallet and fled. UPD did not receive information about the suspect.

Theft II/ From Building

A bookstore employee reported that an individual not affiliated with the University stole merchandise from the store. The individual then returned to the bookstore and UPD detained and arrested the suspect. MPD arrived on scene and transported the subject to Second District station for arrest processing.

Closed by arrest.

Simple Assault (Domestic Violence)

MPD notified UPD that they received a report of a student who assaulted his/her mother while parked in a car in front of Thurston Hall.

Referred to DSA.

Simple Assault/Disorderly Conduct/Unlawful Entry

UPD responded to a report of a fight in process in front of Potomac House. Once on scene, UPD learned that a non-GW-affiliated male suspect had assaulted several students. The suspect refused to leave GW property, and after UPD issued a barring notice, he was subsequently arrested for unlawful entry. MPD responded to the scene to transport the subject to Second District station for processing.

Closed by arrest.

Sexual Assault

A student reported to UPD that she was sexually assaulted while walking to her residence hall. The complainant declined to file a police report with MPD.

A student reported to UPD that her wallet was stolen and noticed subsequent fraudulent charges on her credit card. The victim declined to file a police report with MPD.
