Former Charlotte forward Luke Sasser will transfer to GW, according to recruiting website Verbal Commits and confirmed by Sasser on Twitter who retweeted the report Wednesday.
The 6-foot-5-inch forward did not see any action in the 2016-17 season with The 49ers.
The incoming sophomore is the sixth player to sign with GW under head coach Maurice Joseph.
Sasser will reportedly walk-on, meaning the Colonials still have three scholarships available.
In May, it was announced former Charleston South guard Armel Potter will transfer into the men’s basketball program next season, joining incoming freshmen Justin Mazzulla, Maceo Jack, Terry Nolan Jr. and Javier Langarica.
