Man destroyed table, chairs during argument at Beefsteak, police say

A man allegedly destroyed a dining table, chairs and a beverage dispenser during an argument at Beefsteak in the Science and Engineering Hall Friday night, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.

The man was cited for destruction of property and threats to do bodily harm, according to the report.

At about 10:15 p.m., the subject and another man got into an argument, according to the report. As the subject left the restaurant, witnesses and the other man reported that he damaged the property. The subject then threatened the man that he would fight him when the man left the restaurant, according to the report.

The subject fled on foot westbound on I Street, according to the report.
