Students gathered in District House Thursday night to find out the results of the 2017 Student Association elections.
Peak Sen Chua was elected over Sydney Nelson for executive vice president after an extremely tight race. Chua beat his opponent by only 51.9% of the vote.
“I just couldn’t believe it,” Chua said of his victory. “In the moment that it happened, I was just so overwhelmed by excitement and enthusiasm.”
