Don’t worry about lugging your art gear to Virginia because ArtJamz Underground will provide paints, easels and a canvas for your artistic endeavors. Members of the 21-and-over crowd will also receive a complimentary beer or two glasses of wine.

ArtJamz Underground Studio, 2105 Crystal Plaza Arc, Arlington, Va. 5:30 p.m. $15.

Saturday

Silent Disco Dance Party

If you’re the type to get lost in the music during a night of dancing, Silent Dance Society’s Silent Disco Dance Party is for you. You’ll dance to a mix of songs selected by three live DJs but the tunes won’t be bumping from huge speakers – you’ll don a pair of wireless headphones that allow you to switch between the DJs’ three picks. The headphones light up with colors that correspond to each DJ’s playlist, so you can keep track of what songs your friends are jamming to without the need for conversation. Space is limited, so you’ll want to RSVP soon.

The Embassy Row Hotel, 2015 Massachusetts Ave. NW. 8 p.m. $16 to $20.

Sunday

Scavenger Hunt of the National Zoo

Head over to the Smithsonian National Zoo for a scavenger hunt that will leave you acting as fierce as the animals you’re be surrounded by. You and your team will receive a list of items to hunt down around the zoo. On your hunt, you’ll score points by collecting items, taking pictures or answering trivia questions. The teams with the most points receive prizes, so make sure to bring your most competitive friends. Use the speed of a cheetah, the slyness of a fox and the wisdom of an owl if you want to walk away a winner.

Meet at the Visitor’s Center at the National Zoo, 3001 Connecticut Ave. 11:30 a.m. $20.
