A male student reported receiving harassing and inappropriate text messages and pictures from another male student.

The University Police Department responded to a report of an individual not affiliated with GW using obscenities toward students in District House. UPD identified the subject, barred him from campus and escorted him out of the building.

Subject barred.

Disorderly Conduct/Intoxication

Public Property on Campus (600 Block of 23rd Street NW)

Case closed

UPD saw a verbal altercation between two intoxicated individuals who are not affiliated with GW. EMeRG arrived on the scene and transported one individual to the GW Hospital emergency room for further assessment.

No further action.

Simple Assault

A male student reported to UPD that he was assaulted inside an off-campus nightclub. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to UPD headquarters and took a report.

Robbery Hold-Up/Firearm

A male student reported that he was approached by three individuals at the 2600 block of Virginia Avenue who robbed him of his personal belongings. At the time, he believed that one of them had a gun. The male subjects were later stopped by UPD, and MPD later arrested them. MPD transported the subjects to the Second District police station.

Closed by arrest.

A male student reported to UPD that someone left a message and drawings that were offensive on his dry erase board.

No suspects or witnesses.

Liquor Law Violation

West Hall
3/26/2017 – 2:53 a.m.
Case closed

UPD responded to a report of a possible intoxicated female student. The student admitted to officers that she consumed alcoholic beverages early in the evening but showed no signs of intoxication and passed a field sobriety test.

Referred to the Division Student Affairs.

Robbery Purse Snatch/Larceny

A female student reported to UPD that while waiting for a ride back to campus, an individual ran past her and snatched a handbag that was tied to her wrists. The student declined to notify MPD and was unable to provide a description of the subject.
