The Hatchet is hiring a contributing web developer

The Hatchet is looking for a contributing web developer to join our staff.

After launching our new website this year, we need student web developers to help us continue enhancing the site with new features, like interactive graphics.

While working for The Hatchet, students will get experience working with modern tools and languages like JavaScript, Node.js, nginx, HTML5, CSS3, PHP and GitHub.

Prior programming experience is required, and HTML and CSS knowledge is preferred.

Check out some of our previous work, like landing pages, which we created for coverage of the presidential election and inauguration.

To apply, please send a resume to [email protected]. If you have a GitHub profile or links to any work you’ve done, please send those, as well.
