GW opened George and Martha’s Pop-Up Shop, which offers reduced priced gowns and tuxedos to wear at its Inaugural Ball on January 20, 2017.
This is the first time GW has hosted this event. The idea was conceived by the ball’s planning committee in an effort to make it more affordable for students.
Apparel for the shop was donated by students, staff, faculty, alumni, and the community.
