Simple Assault (Domestic Violence)

Case closed

A student reported to the University Police Department that she and her roommate were involved in a physical altercation. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene and interviewed both students. Both students were female. MPD decided that both students would be arrested. MPD transported the students to the second district police station for processing.

UPD and MPD responded to a report of a staff member leaving a bullet on her desk. The staff member stated that she had forgotten the bullet was in her purse and was unsure what to do with it when she emptied her purse at work. MPD officers took possession of the bullet and issued a report.

Taking Property Without Right, Threats in a Menacing Manner, Kidnapping, Simple Assault (Domestic Violence), Aggravated Assault

A student reported to UPD that she was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend. The victim stated that her ex-boyfriend refused to let her leave and took away her cell phone while he was assaulting her. The victim informed UPD that she sought medical treatment at a local hospital. The victim filed a report with MPD.

Unlawful Entry/Stalking/Voyeurism

Case closed

UPD responded to a report of a female student being stalked by a male student from another male student on the rooftop of 2106 G St. UPD arrested the subject and MPD transported him to second district police station.

– Closed by arrest.

Non-forcible Burlary/Possession of Drugs

South Hall

Case closed

Two students reported that another student entered into a room in South Hall and began to take items. UPD responded to the scene and arrested the male subject for the theft and found possession of marijuana on him. MPD arrived on the scene and transported him to the district police station for processing.
