A student reported to University Police Department that he was approached by an individual who accused him of theft. The male student left the store without further incident.

– No identifiable suspect.

Stalking

A campus security authority reported that a student was being stalked in the hall. There is limited information on the incident.

Theft II/From Building/Credit Card Fraud

A staff member reported to UPD that his backpack containing his wallet was taken from an office. His debit and credit cards were used at various locations in and around campus. The backpack was found and returned to him without the cards.

Two students reported to UPD that someone entered the room and stole their property.

District House

UPD responded to a report of an intoxicated person in District House. EMeRG responded and the male student was taken to GW Hospital for further evaluation.

While on patrol, a UPD officer observed multiple students drinking alcohol in the common area of District House.

UPD responded to a fire alarm activation that occurred in International House. Upon arrival, the cause of the alarm the smoke alarm was damaged.

University Yard

UPD saw an individual throwing an empty Powerade bottle into the crowd during Fall Fest. The officer stopped and identified the subject. EMeRG was on scene and transported him to GW Hospital for further evaluation.

Attempted Theft

Public Property on Campus (800 Block of 23rd Street NW)
9/2/2016 – 10:05 – 10:30 p.m.
Case closed

While on patrol, a UPD officer observed an individual attempting to remove GW property from its location. The unaffiliated male subject was stopped by the officer. The Metropolitan Police Department was notified and the subject was barred from GW property.
