GW professor designs robots to help autistic children

Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering Chung Hyuk Park designs robots intended to help children with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders.

“Robotics might not be the cure but we can help them to practice their social skills, to engage in emotional and social activities, to help them gain more confidence in human interaction,” Park said.
