The men’s basketball team’s game against Rhode Island Friday will be played at 5 p.m. instead of 7 p.m. due to the expected snow storm, the athletic department announced Thursday evening.

The game will stream on Raise High Live, the athletic department’s streaming service, but will not be broadcast on ESPN2 as originally scheduled.

ESPN told the athletic department that they would be unable to get a production crew to The Smith Center in time for the earlier start.

Because of the change, admission to the game will be free, with a pre-game party in the Colonials Club hosted by the athletic department at 3:30 p.m.
