Fear not GW – you can still get tickets to see Jon Stewart.
After students, parents and other interested parties faced technical difficulties while trying to buy tickets to the comedian’s Colonial Weekend performances Tuesday morning, GW temporarily suspended ticket sales. Tickets will be available again for sale Wednesday, July 8, at noon EST, according to a University release.
“Only at GW would Jon Stewart be the hottest ticket on the most politically active campus,” reads the release.
Tickets at all prices are still available for both the 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. shows on Oct. 17, according to the announcement.
The University announced Stewart would headline Colonials Weekend in May.
Students weren’t thrilled about the technical difficulties.

This Jon Stewart ticket fiasco (aka #vendinigate ) is giving me terror flashbacks to Obama/Colbert #GWU

maybe the issue is that #GWU decided they don't want to sell tickets but they want to give them away?¿? #Vendinigate pic.twitter.com/cU8gEZPJ2O
