Multiple-suspect robbery reported near Foggy Bottom Metro station

Police are searching for seven to eight suspects after a robbery was reported near 24th Street and New Hampshire Avenue on Saturday.

The suspects were described in a GW alert as “black youths,” between the ages of 12 and 16, who were wearing dark clothing. One reportedly had a shaved head, and two others were wearing winter hats.

After searching the area, police were not able to apprehend any suspects, according to the University alert sent at about 10:10 p.m. The Metropolitan Police Department released an alert at about 9:20 p.m. about the incident, which occurred at 9:10 p.m.
