Coffee is key for surviving your 8 a.m. class.

Set more than one alarm: Save yourself from the panic of oversleeping.

Caffeinate.

Put your alarm far from your bed, which will force you to get up to turn it off.

Shower at night so you can hit snooze one more time in the morning.

Set your clothes out the night before – or you could even sleep in tomorrow’s outfit.

Buy breakfast bars for a quick on-the-go meal.

Find out how many absences you are allowed to have – and keep track of them throughout the semester – so if you do need the extra sleep one day, you know you’ll still pass.

Make plans to walk to class with friends. It’s harder to skip if you know someone is waiting for you.

Don’t sit in the front of the room. If you happen to doze off, you definitely don’t want your professor to notice.

Reward yourself for getting out of bed: Get a big breakfast after class.
