The Metropolitan Police Department and campus police are looking for a suspect who allegedly struck a woman with the butt of a pistol in an office building at 2112 F St.

The victim told officers that she was “pistol whipped” in the building next to The Dakota, according to a GW alert sent at about 12:40 p.m. She was treated for a gash on her forehead.

The suspect is a 5’8″ black man and weighs about 160 pounds. He was wearing a gray shirt and hat at the time of the alleged attack, and fled the scene in a black BMW with the D.C. tag ED7166.
