The Colonials, after being picked to finish 10th in the A10 in preseason polls, exceeded all expectations and finished in third place. Much of their success came from the hot hands of transfer student Maurice Creek and the emergence of GW’s “sophomore four.” GW also earned their first bid, to the NCAA tournament since 2007. They will face Memphis in the second round of the Big Dance.
