Crawling out of bed for 7 a.m. registration can be the worst. But at least it’s not 1978.

That January morning, 14,838 students waited in line to register for spring class.

It took some students hours just to get to the booth and hand in their papers, and unexpected snowstorms and chilly weather made registering for classes a test of physical endurance.

So when Banweb kicks you off at 7:01 a.m. during registration in a few weeks, take a deep breath and remember it could be much worse.
