Administrators, including Provost Steven Lerman, visited residence halls last week to meet with students to discuss their experiences living on campus. He told students in Strong Hall about how his time as a Faculty-in-Residence helped him learn more about students. “The opportunity to get to know students and, later on, going to weddings and witnessing breakups, it’s all part of being an adult, but I think it made me a better teacher and I wish more faculty could have that,” he said.
