Sophomore point guard Joe McDonald is “doubtful” for GW’s game at Dayton tomorrow after aggravating his lingering hip injury Wednesday.

McDonald is listed as day-to-day, according to a release sent by the athletics department Friday afternoon. The Colonials (17-3, 5-1) are already playing without guard Kethan Savage, weakening their backcourt.

McDonald is averaging 28.1 minutes and 7.5 points per game. He’s shot 30 percent from the three-point line.

GW squares off against Dayton (13-8, 1-5) on Saturday at noon.
