The University Police Department responded to a report of two students in front of Thurston Hall making fun of people’s Halloween costumes and attempting to provoke people. The two students told officers they were actually complimenting people. One of them also reported that an unknown subject had hit him in the nose earlier that evening.

UPD officers responded to a report of a suspicious odor. House staff conducted an administrative search, which yielded 2.7 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and alcohol, as well as a discharged fire extinguisher. A female resident of the room admitted she had set off the fire extinguisher.

A UPD officer noticed a suspicious odor while on patrol. Housing staff was notified and conducted an administrative search, which yielded alcohol. During the search, the room’s occupants admitted they had just smoked marijuana.
