A homeless man who had been barred from GW three times was arrested Wednesday after he returned to campus.
A University Police Department officer saw an “aggressive homeless person who was verbally abusing patrons” in front of the 7-Eleven in Mitchell Hall at about 1 a.m., UPD Chief Kevin Hay said.
The officer confirmed that the University had barred the 48-year-old white man three times over the past year and a half, according to Metropolitan Police Department documents. MPD officers then placed him under arrest for unlawful entry.
